We have a dedicated team who take special care of our horses and make sure that your horse Riding experience will be enjoyable, safe and fun.
Shana Carlan-Riddell – was originally born in the USA and married her Kiwi husband Mark in 1988. Together with their son Riley, they manage the 700 acre property and thoroughly enjoy sharing their country lifestyle with visitors. Shana is a practicing artist and has a gallery in the stables office, where visitors can view her work.
Heather Fargher– Heather job-shares as Operations Manager. Heather is a real Salt of the Earth kinda gal: ex-shepherdess, ex-dairy farmer, and having been involved with horses all her life, she is very practical and capable. She has a great sense of humour, and is also a keen fisherwoman
Jolene Price– Jo brings 25 years of experience to our Riding business, and is our longest serving employee. She breeds her own sport horses is our Stable Manager and Equine Purchasing Manager. She makes sure the farrier comes on time, drenches all the horses, and is responsible for all aspects of animal health and makes sure the gear is in good order. She is dedicated to our horses and her profession, and we are extremely fortunate to have her on our team.
Collette Dodge-Collette has also been riding for years and enjoys talking to all the clients who come and visit.She owns Shadow and Bear who are her western trained horses that come to work to be with their boss while she works.She and her family sharemilk 400 dairy cows so she has lots to keep her busy every day and it is great to have her join our team with her bubbly character.
Tracey Vyver– Our grooming expert, Tracey instructs at our local pony club. Tracey has spent most of her life around horses and is always keen to know everything about our clients!
Karina Moore-has rejoined us part time and with her experience and passion for all things equestrian is as asset to our team.
Sue McLachlan-is a keen tallyho hunter with her faithful steed *RUA*.She gives instruction through pony club,helps with stewarding at shows and lives with her husband on a property close by.Another cheerful addition to our team.
We have many other part time and casual staff that work with us over the summer and school holiday periods, who all bring their wonderful talents and personalities to the team.
