700 acres of Paradise!

We are so fortunate to have the pleasure of owning this stunning property, full of productive pasture, native forests, trout-filled streams, and stunning lake and pastoral views all around. We have owned the farm since 2001, and are not keen to leave this piece of paradise ever. We have farmed bull beef and sheep here over those 8 years, but currently we are farming dairy replacement heifers , which we currently  have listed for sale to dairy farmers looking for this season's milking girls. We have a mixture of recorded and un-recorded heifers (young cows that have not had their first calves), of Jersey, Freisan and Cross bred origins. They have been with us through spring, summer and now autumn, and have had the best care in their animal health programmes throughout this time. This has included parasite control, vaccinations, and treatment for the prevention of excema. They are currently being pregnancy tested to make sure they are in calf, although it seems pretty obvious as they are pretty round and fat! Shana loves this kind of farming, because "nobody dies": they all go off to a happy life on another farm to start their working life making milk!
